Paws For A Cause began in Michigan and is developing a student leadership model for future chapters. Below is where we are with that, and how to be part of it.

Students in other states have reached out about helping support animal welfare in their own communities. We're treating each of those conversations carefully rather than rushing to launch chapters.
We're still working out the details, but here's roughly what a healthy local chapter would look like:
Students who can plan a few projects per year, communicate with our team, and follow through with local partners.
A real local shelter, rescue, clinic, or community animal group that's open to working with student volunteers.
A supply drive, an adoption-awareness session, or a volunteer day, not a long list of made-up programs.
Parents, guardians, or a teacher who know what the student leads are doing and can help when needed.
Send a short note about your school, your community, and any local shelter or rescue you'd like to support. We'll respond within 2–3 school or business days.
